Last night, I was lurking on the twitter chat #yalitchat and everyone was talking about their inspirations. What keeps them writing through the ups and downs.
There were a lot of great things that people threw out there. One of my inspirations, and it came after I got a publishing deal, is book bloggers.
Somehow, before I started seriously writing, I wasn't aware of this huge online community of bloggers who lived, breathed, and died for books. I know, what the hell was I missing this entire time? But since then, I've got to meet and chat with lots of bloggers and I have to say, for the most part, they are the nicest, sweetest, smartest, and coolest group of people on the internet.
Not just for those reasons do I heart me some book bloggers, but also because these are the voices that get debut and unknown authors out to the masses. I didn't know that until I started my publication journey. And I don't think a lot of writers realize that either.
I just wanted to give them a shout out. We love you book bloggers!
