Amazon and Half-Blood

As some as you may know, Amazon is shipping their print copies of Half-Blood over a month earlier. What that means that if you have pre-ordered Half-Blood, then you should be getting your copy soon.

I'm not sure why Amazon is shipping the copies early, but they have been doing this recently with different pubs and authors.

The kindle version WILL NOT be available until 10/18/2011 as well as other vendors and retailers.

So if you can't wait until 10/18, Amazon may be the place to order your copies.

  3. This makes me sad! If I was an author I would be upset at this... I'll be waiting for my copy, I ordered from the publisher, lol.

  5. Thanks Val! And yes, since Amazon and Book Depository are joined, I figured it would be available there too.

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed. Half-Blood is my debut book and that's a big deal. Waiting for the release date, knowing people will have it their hands soon and all of that. Now some people will have it now, some will have it later. Kind of takes away from that big date in the future.

But oh well, hopefully it sells well early. LOL

  7. I just saw it on Amazon :( I guess they didn't hold it back after the release date changed. So sorry. Well, the good news is that people will just get a chance to fall in love with it that much sooner!

  8. B&N is also shipping HALF-BLOOD now if ordered on bn.com or at a store. I ordered my copy earlier today and came to tell you...and saw that Amazon is as well!

Also, it's weird, but BN is going to stock the book in adult romance. Shouldn't it be in teen?

  10. I know it took away from the big release day, but I just spent all night reading your book. I could not put it down! The only frustrating part is now I have to wait months before I can read more about Aiden and Alex! Thank you! I LOVED your book.
