Today I had one of the most awesome feelings. You know, that swelling, almost short of breath sensation when you see something awesome and unexpected?
I didn't know this, but Half-Blood had been entered in the The USA 9th Annual Best Books of 2011. And it became a finalist! I lost to Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love, but come on, if I was going to lose to anyone, I'm thrilled to lose to them.
Just to be nominated and actually final is a huge moment for me and Spencer Hill, who is responsible for Half-Blood even seeing the light of day. Anyway, enough of my rambling. Here is the link to the announcement USA BOOK NEWS
Congratulations!!!
