I got a sekrit

I got a sekrit project I'm working on. This sekrit project involves quite a bit of creeptastic research, which led me to purchase this....

Thank God for Amazon, because buying this in a store would probably earn you some really weird looks. And yes, my desk is messy as HELL. I know this.  But you haven't really seen anything yet.

Anyway,  that song from Pretty Little Liars is playing in my head now. So as I wait for edits to come back and while I am taking a little break from the world of Alex, I'm digging into something far more darker. Which means far more fun.

Another hint below, because well, i like to tease people.

Don't forget to enter my contest on the other post. Winners will be announced tomorrow and as long as the massive ice storm doesn't shut everything down, the book will go out in the mail at some point this week.

And thank you for all the ideas for the contest name. It's going to be hard picking one!

  1. OH MY GOD! I did the same thing. I got The Lesser Key Of Solomon from the library to do research on demons for one of my WIPs and I was afraid they would think I was like a demon worshiper trying to raise a demon. Luckily the librarian didn't seem to notice it and then I hid the book in my pile.

  3. I lucked up. My atheist/agnostic/secular humanist friend loaded me up with some super helpful books for mine. One of the best he loaned me is the Complete Book of Devils and Demons by Leonard RN Ashley. I got soooooo many great ideas from it. Good for beginners.

  5. When I saw the statues and that book together I thought maybe you were researching the Golem.

btw, glad to see someone else aside from me get one of the tolerable 5-hour energy flavors instead of berry - blech!

  6. Chris- well, my sekrit book really isn't just about demons. You so far are the closest to what it's truly about.

    I love 5-Hour.

  7. OOO is it about gargoyles? Gargoyles would be a pretty awsome idea. Plus those things look like gargoyles, unless I am imagining things. I'm excited for this now!

  8. The golem... isn't that the creature from Jewish legend?
