Pure

I have some news regarding Pure (Book 2 in the Covenant Series) that I've stayed sort of silent on, but since people are starting to get emails, I figure the demigod is out of the bag.

Pure is being released a month early for those who have pre-ordered Pure, especially from Amazon. It appears that the distributor has released the books early to the vendors. To be honest, I'm not very thrilled since it creates a lot of confusion for readers and buyers, but good news, you get the book a month earlier.

Now, I don't know if its the same for B&N or Book Depository or any other vendor. I don't know if the copies will be in the stores this week or on the April 3rd release date. Or if you place an order tomorrow, it will ship out. I really won't know until I can see what happens. For those who recall Half-Blood's release, we went through the same thing. So it's a kind of wait and see what happens.

As far a the digital release of Pure: It will probably become available before April 3rd since print will be out.  I don't know when, but I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Keep in mind, that the digital version will have two POV's from Seth. The print version does not, but does have a sneak peek at Deity. There's also a huge blog tour being run by Stuck In Books. Check out their website for tour information, which includes character interviews and scenes in Aiden and Seth's POV.

As always, I hope you enjoy Pure!!!

  7. Will we see the two Seth POVs during the blog tour, or are they exclusive to the ebook?

  8. The two in the e book are exclusive to the e book. The one for the blog tour is different

  12. For you, Jennifer, I can imagine how disappointed you feel, but for us readers it's a huge good surprise. I pre-ordered Pure on amazon in January but I haven't received the email yet.
And, like everybody above wrote, don't worry, we can't dislike Pure. It's just impossible. ;)

  13. I'll try to remember to check our warehouse's inventory later today and let you know. While it's a great surprise for readers who weren't lucky enough to score an ARC, it's super sad for you because the sales will be all over the place and not represent a true release. I'm so sorry this happened AGAIN with this series for you! *hugs*

  14. I am going to need the ebook version too. I have all of my favorite books in physical and digital format. ;) Sorry that it got all messed up for you though. That really sucks. No matter what people are going to buy and love the book.

  15. Well... I'll have to buy a kindle of Pure because I pre-ordered Pure on Amazon.fr (I'm french) and they don't have it yet. No earlier release.

Once again, I hope it won't be so "messed up" for the next one. It's weird how it happens more often this kind of mistake with distributor.

  17. I will have it in my mailbox tomorrow!
But I do have mixed feelings... Because as soon as I finish it, that is it until deity in the fall.
This is how you know your books are awesome.. They are soo good, I don't want to finish them!

I may hold off a couple of days so I can reread Half-blood... Maybe. Lol

  18. Sucks this happened AGAIN...maybe they'll get it right for Deity and Apollyon. I can see how this will effect the true "release date" sales. Hopefully it won't be that much of a disaster. I know that everyone will love Pure as much as I did. But as some have mentioned, yes it's good that readers get it early but we still have to wait that extra amount of time to read the next one. But it does suck majorly for the distributors to have released it a month before they should have =(

  20. I've been holding off on my review until 2 weeks before pub date!

I understand this is a good thing for those who are anxiously awaiting Pure but for those of us who've held off our reviews (even though we could've reviewed on Feb 15th) for other reasons, it kind of sucks!

I was planning on re-posting my Half-blood with a give away and then Pure with a give away and sort of making a Jennifer week out of it with Lux and some fun things to do with 'Jennifer's Men'!

Faery Farts! I'm sorry but I'm disappointed! I have no doubt that is will be a favorite of everyone but it sort of put a damper on my plans! It's coming out 10 days earlier than what I had anticipated for my 'Fun w/Jennifer' week! Big sigh...

This just really bites but I'm happy for everyone that gets to read it :o] I don't want to sound witchy about it :o]
